I am an experienced public speaker, facilitator and workshop leader. I am a strong believer in everyone’s right to take part in and create culture, regardless of their backgrounds & identities and I actively raise awareness about it whenever I can.
Consulting
I work with organisations, movements and informal groups providing expertise to support them to enact change.
I am currently:
on the Leadership Group of the What Next? Movement for Culture
an Innovator in Residence at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
Advocating
I often take part in events to raise awareness around the topics I am passionate about including access to and democratisation of culture, the four day working week and workers’ rights.
Recent engagements include: the Freelance Taskforce (sponsored by LIFT); Freelance Futures - Leading independently panel; the Arts and Theatre Institute in the Czech Republic; Central School of Speech and Drama and guest lecturing at University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam amongst others.
I am also one of the a founding members of Migrants in Theatre Movement which advocates for a better representation of 1st generation immigrants both on and off stage.
Training
I have developed workshops to share my knowledge in event management, creative producing and change making.
I specialise in cross-cultural work, international projects and festivals, strategic planning and delivery.
Recent workshop clients include Centrala in Birmingham and Teren in the Czech Republic.
Whilst at Arts & Homelessness International, I trained cultural spaces, organisations and individuals around the world for how to work best with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Writing
I am committed to sharing and disseminating ideas and good practice as widely as possible.
I write opinion pieces, critical reflections and provocations. Recent publications include: The civic role of cultural spaces in culture and immigration at Culture Caleidoscoop as well as regular short blogs sent via my newsletter.
